Story Bridge

Story Bridge is without doubt one of Brisbane's premier landmarks and this striking bridge was built in the late 1930s. Crossing the wide Brisbane River, Story Bridge was considered a tremendous feat of engineering, allowing cars to easily travel from Brisbane's Fortitude Valley to Kangaroo Point.

Brisbane City Hall is situated in central Brisbane and this magnificent landmark is a fine example of classical Victorian Architecture. Built in the mid-19th century, highlights at Brisbane City Hall include a tall tower, large clock face, guided tours and an impressive circular concert hall, where many of Brisbane's most important events take place.

The Brisbane River has contributed greatly to the wealth and importance of Brisbane city. This large and attractive river meanders through central Brisbane and has played an essential part in Brisbane's maritime history, allowing large ships and transporter vessels to easily access the docklands. Today, the Brisbane River features regular scenic cruises and edges many of Brisbane's parks and gardens. The Brisbane River can be crossed at several points by a number of large bridges, including Story Bridge, and is often home to large Black Whaler and Bull sharks, particularly where the Breakfast Creek joins the Brisbane River.

Wolston House

Dating back more than 150 years, Wolston House is situated in Brisbane's southern outskirts, in the Wacol area. Now owned and managed by the Australian National Trust, this landmark farmhouse has been fully renovated and restored to its original appearance, both inside and out.
